Male fronted 5 piece band, with a large repertoire of classic hits, all played live with a driving Backbeat. Our Set Lists span the decades from the 50's to the 80's, though most are from the 60's or 70's. With strong male lead vocals and multi part harmonies, we bring an updated sound to the best known hits of the past.The Backbeats have been performing live music for 30 over years - and we play 100% live (no backing tracks). All members have played their respective instruments since childhood, and several of the band are multi instrumentalists. The common denominator is our collective love of classic sixties and seventies music - the Golden Years of pop! We play hits by the Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, The Dave Clark Five and many, many more. Sixties and seventies music is as much loved today as at any time in the past.
