Biography
Steve Royle came third on Britain’s Got Talent 2020. He followed this up with a 2021 UK tour. He won "Best Comic" at the UK Pantomime Awards 2025 & has performed Pantomime at The Grand Theatre, Blackpool for the past 22 years. He was also featured & interviewed in the recent Sky Arts Documentary “The Story of Panto” presented by Gyles Brandreth. Steve was in Peter Kay’s Sitcom “Phoenix Nights”. In 2015 he performed 16 nights at The Manchester Arena as part of the "Phoenix Nights Live" show raising over £ 5 million for Comic Relief. In 2019 he starred, to critical acclaim, in the World premier of "Naturally Insane: The Life of Dan Leno" & eventually performed the play in the West End at the Criterion Theatre. TV credits include Peter Kay’s mate “Jim” in “Car Share”, “Phoenix Nights”, “Max & Paddy’s Road To Nowhere”, “Peter Kay’s Britain’s Got The Pop Factor…”, “Stand-up Britain”, “Give Your Mate A Break” & straight acting roles in “The Things You Do For Love” & “Magnolia”.
