Biography
Planet 80 have been rocking venues throughout the UK since January 2016 but none of the band are strangers to entertaining crowds, having come together from various bands in the past. We cover a wide range of 80s music from artists such as Wham!, Aztec Camera, Duran Duran, Queen, Erasure, Huey Lewis, Gary Numan and many more. Like many bands, we started playing in local pubs and clubs but these days we are often seen in much larger venues such as the Concorde Club and The White Horse Theatre in Seal Bay Holiday park where we have shared the stage with the likes of Go West, Black Lace and Sonia as part of their Big 80s Weekends. We also organise our own annual outdoor mini-festival on Hayling Island.
