Biography
Paul started performing in 1976 as a rhythm guitarist in a band called Spyral. Since then, Paul has performed as a solo guitar vocalist across the UK and Europe, doing summer seasons at flamingo land in North Yorkshire and also six years at The Farm in Afra and other venues on the island of Corfu. This included working as a solo artist and playing bass with a Greek house band. Paul has played in pit orchestras for theatre productions and have been privileged enough to work with acts including Tony Christie, Freddie Garrity and later with The Dreamers, Brian Poole and Electrix and is currently playing bass guitar for what remains of Gerry Marsden’s last touring band going out as The New Pacemakers. Paul can play many instruments but can usually be found playing a guitar or bass guitar. Since completing his music degree, Paul now also teaches music in schools alongside performing as a musician, inspiring and coaching the next generation of musicians.
