Mel the Pocket Rocket

Mel has been a singer of a big band, corporate function bands, Pink Floyd and Suzi Quatro tribute bands, rock bands, a session singer, backing vocalist, part of a duo and as Mel the Solo Singer. Never working to a set list, Mel will simply gauge the gig as it progresses and choose songs to sing she feels will suit the mood at that moment. With over 600 songs in her repertoire, ranging from oldies to current tunes across just about all commercial genres, and she is constantly learning more, adding to the eclectic list. So whether a social club that requires a wide variety of popular songs to fill the dancefloor, to a pub that is more suited to alternative pop and rock covers or the care home where the song choices are all about triggering memories and feeling good, she can cater for just about all. Mel is a self-contained act, meaning she will provide her own equipment and perform.
