Matt Thorpe

Over the last 17 years Matt has performed in some of the biggest and most popular musicals London's West End has had to offer. During this time he has appeared in shows such as Mamma Mia, Hairspray, High School Musical and took on the leading roles in American Idiot, We Will Rock You and Jersey Boys. Matt's versatile vocal range has seen him sing many different styles of music over the years from the rock sounds of Greenday and Queen to the distinct falsetto of Frankie Valli and music through the ages, from the 50's right through to the present day. Matt made it to the live final on Gary Barlow's BBC 1 Saturday night T.V. show Let It Shine. In his first round audition he won over the judges singing Alicia Key's 'If I Ain't Got You' and from there made it all the way to the live televised finals where he finished as a runner up. Now based in the Hampshire area and since the end of the programme has toured the world performing at many different events.
