DJ ORIGINAL P

A DJ/Producer/vocalist who effortlessly mixes his way through various genres & decades packing dance floors wherever he plays. From London, brought up during the introduction of the UK Garage scene he found influence from jungle, old skool dance as well as hip-hop. ORIGINAL P started mixing & emceeing side by side at the age of 15. He played at many venues in London before playing at the infamous ‘Twice As Nice’ night. He showed off his vocal skills when he emceed in the London rap battle ‘Jump Off’ on stage at Brixton Academy at ‘The Streets’ - Original Pirate Material Tour in front of 5,000 people. In early 2023 after the success of becoming a BBC Sounds featured artist ORIGINAL P went on to support Jo Wiley at the O2 Academy Oxford for her amazing 90s Anthems UK tour! ORIGINAL P’s quick beat matching and ability to mix all genres on all formats sets him apart from others. He is one half of production duo SAYF, who release their debut EP in the coming months.
